Data

SafeAD develops software for autonomous driving. To do this, we rely on real image material from public roads in order to make our software as safe as possible. For this purpose, we occasionally record sensor data, such as camera images and laser scans, using our test vehicle. Our vehicle is marked with the notice shown below.

The data is used exclusively by SafeAD for the development and testing of software for autonomous driving. For this purpose, the data is stored in a secure data center within Germany, where it is protected against unauthorized access. SafeAD does not carry out any personal evaluation as part of the data processing.

If you were recorded by our test vehicle and would like to request deletion of the recording, please contact us at contact@safead.de and provide the location and time of the recording.
