In this role, you’ll:
- Manage customer projects from the initial proposal stage through to successful implementation.
- Develop and write project proposals in collaboration with technical teams and partners.
- Coordinate project meetings, work packages, and project timelines.
- Identify funding opportunities at the national and European levels (e.g., BMBF, BMWK, Horizon Europe).
- Build and organize project consortia with industry and research partners.
- Initiate, coordinate, and manage publicly funded research and development projects.
- Take responsibility for communication with project agencies, funding bodies, and consortium partners.
- Support and coordinate the recruitment process for new team members.
- Represent SafeAD at trade fairs, conferences, and other events.
We require you to have:
- A completed degree in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline.
- Experience in technical project management within autonomous driving, robotics, and/or autonomy software.
- Experience with publicly funded research and development projects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
- A self-driven, structured, and reliable working style.
- An interest in combining technical topics with project management and strategic collaboration.
